Could the reason for this be the recent flooding? I've never noticed this problem.

Nope just pick-up and dine-in, but their worth the effort of driving up there for a pie. Also thier pastries are delicious too, so snag one while you're there! ???

The dulcimer itself predates the 1980s by hundreds of years, and is a difficult instrument to maintain, but if you contact a reputable music store, they should be able to help.
